This is a large US WWII propaganda poster titled “Time saved on YOUR job SAVES LIVES ON HIS.” The image was painted by Mead Schaffer who was a contemporary and good friend of Norman Rockwell. Like Rockwell, Mead Schaffer was a prolific illustration artist who did a total of 46 covers for the Saturday Evening Post. He was also a war correspondent during WWII creating illustrations that tried to capture what it was like to be a soldier on the frontlines.

The poster is linen-backed and in great condition. This poster was created in 1943 and is the larger version of the poster. It is twice as big as the smaller version and harder to find. There are no tears along the fold lines but there is some ink transfer seen on the poster which is common for folded posters of this age.

The poster measures 39.75x28.75 inches with the linen measuring 43.87x32.78 inches.
