Vintage Deforest of California Anthropomorphic Bar B Cuties Happy Onion Soup Tureen Pixie Onion Serving Dish

This is a rare mid century happy Onion soup tureen and ladle by DeForest of California. This piece is from the Bar-B-Cutie line, featuring cute onions usually smiling. The wonderful faces are what makes these pieces so collectible. This would make a great piece to add to your collection.

The soup tureen is in good used vintage condition. There are tiny chips around the edge of the lid on one side and some small marks on the lid as seen in the pictures. Also the there is missing paint on the top of the green part of the onion bowl lid and a tiny paint chip on the backside of the ladle. See pictures for condition.

The soup tureen measures 11 inches across and 8 inches tall. The ladle is 8 inches long.
